Eventbrite — Lanny Baker, Luke Cahill, Heather Ellis, Tessa Morris, James Reichardt, and Jon Wilson
Eventbrite has added a number new pressionals to its team. The company specializes in event management and ticketing with an emphasis on local events.
Leading the pack, Lanny Baker has been promoted to chief financial ficer (CFO). Baker has held leadership roles at Yelp, ZipRealty, and other well-known companies.
Luke Cahill will serve as an Account Executive. Cahill’s experience includes six years as an APA agent and an executive role in the fices Aloompa, a company that develops mobile applications for music festivals.
Heather Ellis will become Eventbrite’s Product Marketing Manager. Ellis previously played in a band, Cardboard Boxes, and prior to signing with Eventbrite, she worked for Pandora.
Tessa Morris will step up as Digital Marketing Manager. Morris’s live event experience includes a lengthy stint at The UC Theatre, a Berkley music venue that features 1,350 seats.
James Reichardt, an architect and co-founder Flavorus, has accepted the position Director Engineering.
Lastly, Jon Wilson, who has worked for Live Nation and Front Gate Tickets, will oversee Eventbrite’s Music Departments.
Music Business Association (Music Biz) — Portia Sabin
Portia Sabin will replace Music Biz’s longtime president, James Donio, on September 3rd. Dr. Sabin previously led Kill Rock Stars, a Portland-based record label, and previously received her PhD in Anthropology and Education from Columbia University.
Westwood One Podcasts — Sarah McCrory, Madena Parwana, Lou Pellegrino, Rebekah Wineman
Westwood One has made four significant additions to its executive division.
Sarah McCrory, who formerly worked for Fox News, will become an Associate Producer.
Madena Parwana, a former Bloomberg employee, will now oversee the production news- and entertainment-related content.
Lou Pellegrino has been tabbed as a Senior Producer Development. He previously worked for Cadence13.
Lastly, Rebekah Wineman has been brought on as Westwood One’s Audio-Mixing Engineer and Studio Technician. Wineman has experience mixing podcasts for The Wall Street Journal and NPR.
Live Nation — Kelly Kapp
Kelly Kapp has been promoted to Live Nation’s Vice President Touring and Executive Vice President House Blues Entertainment Talent. Kapp has been part Live Nation’s team for 17 years.
Sirius XM — Jess Cagle
Jess Cagle, an experienced magazine editor, has become Sirius XM’s Chief Entertainment Anchor. Cagle formerly worked for People.
Opry Entertainment Group — Dan Rogers
Dan Rogers has been promoted to Vice President and Executive Producer the Grand Ole Opry. Rogers has worked for Opry since 1999.
Warner Chappell Music UK — Amber Davis
Warner Chappell Music UK has promoted Amber Davis to Head Artists and Repertoire (A&R). Davis was promoted from within Warner Chappell UK’s A&R division.
Amazon Music — Adam Block
Adam Block has signed on as Amazon Music’s Head Catalogue. Block previously served as President Sony’s Legacy Recordings.
UMG and Pop House Sweden — Per Sundin
Per Sundin previously headed Universal Music Group’s Scandinan operations, but he’ll step down from that position to become CEO Pop House Group, which was co-founded by Abba’s Björn Ulvaeus. Sundin will also become UMG’s Nordic Non-Executive Chairman — a position that will allow him to be involved in UMG decisions while also dedicating time to Pop House Group.
