Roxanne Pallett made a rare public appearance in Manchester today after removing herself from the spotlight last year.
The 36 year old hit headlines in 2018 when she accused Ryan Thomas, 35, punching her during their time together in Celebrity Big Brother.
After losing her radio show and being cut from her scheduled pantomime appearance, she will now return to work.
Putting on a brave face today, the former Emmerdale actress stepped out in her home city as she prepares to ease herself back into work; where she is due to speak about her battle with depression and PTSD at The Music For Your Mind event.
The petite brunette donned a skin-tight leather-look pencil skirt for the occasion, teamed with a fashionable slogan T-shirt.

Adding height to her frame, she teamed her outfit with a pair nude heels and a black cross-shoulder bag.
Discussing her first job since leaving the Channel 5 show in September, Roxanne told The Sun: “I’ll be speaking at the event to help artists raise awareness and funds for mental health art therapy workshops.
“Although I’m extremely nervous, I know that sharing our stories, experiences, fears, flaws and recoveries are what can help the next person feel less alone.”

The post detailed how her family home burnt down when she was just 16, fell into an absurd relationship and lost her best friend to suicide.
She continued: “I had all the debilitating symptoms: Panic, distress, irrationality, irritability, sweating, nausea, insomnia, fear, paranoia, insecurity, stress, chest pain, jaw tension, impulsiveness, defensiveness.
“In 2018 I had to put my pride aside & ask for help. I was diagnosed with PTSD & Panic Disorder. I’m now on medication & I see a specialist for EMDR & CBT therapy. I feel like I’m finally coming up for air. I now pause before reacting. I look to myself before others. I reframe.
“So many are misunderstood because their mental struggles. Life breaks some us more than others & it’s down to us to put our pieces back together but we can’t do that alone. We aren’t lost, crazy, weird or toxic, we’re injured. But mental injuries don’t mend on their own. Please, if this is you, talk to your doctor.”
