Peermusic Acquires South Korea's Music Cube — Which Includes BTS Copyrights

Peermusic has now acquired Music Cube, whose catalog contains songs from BTS.

Peermusic has been reasonably busy as late.

Last summer time, the unbiased writer acquired Accorder Music Publishing, a UK-based indie movie and TV writer.  Accorder has represented a roster composers for exhibits together with Great British Bake Off, River Monsters, The Great American Read, and Teletubbies, amongst others.

Then, a number of weeks later, Peermusic signed songwriter Linda Perry to a worldwide publishing deal.  Under phrases the deal, the indie writer launched a three way partnership with We Are Hear Music, Perry’s report label, publishing, and administration firm.

Now, the indie writer has confirmed one other main acquisition.

Moving into the Okay-Pop scene.

According to a brand new report, Peermusic has acquired South Korean unbiased music writer, Music Cube.

The deal provides 40,000 Korean copyrights to its international catalog.  This contains works from BTS, Red Velvet, and AOA.

The acquisition marks the US indie writer’s 30th entry right into a worldwide market.  Heesun Park will function General Manager Peermusic Korea, and can report on to Mary Megan Peer, Deputy CEO.  Peer oversees the indie writer’s Asian operations, together with corporations in Beijing, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore.
